Tell Us Your WVAC Story

In Emergency Medical Service, we generally only get to spend about 20 minutes with our patients before handing off care to the emergency room.  We may spend 5 - 10 minutes on scene and then about 15 minutes transporting our patients to the hospital. During that time, we strive to ease our patients' minds and their pain and be there for them in what is usually one of the darkest times in their lives.

What most people do not realize is that we do not ever hear about our patients' outcomes.  Once we hand off care at the hospital, our providers never get to know how their patients are doing.  They go back to headquarters, write their patient care reports, and get ready for the next call.

One of the greatest joys of being a volunteer emergency medical provider are the extremely rare occasions when our patients write us a letter, telling us about their experience with us and letting us know how they are doing.  â€‹â€‹Please tell us your story by clicking the appropriate button below.

Likewise, WVAC has a long, rich history of serving the community in Wilton with our volunteer providers.  Many of our volunteers are students who are not with us very long before they go off to college, move away, and start their careers.  If you are a current or former member of WVAC, we would love to hear your stories of your time at WVAC as well!  Please tell us your story by clicking the appropriate button below.

Thanks so much in advance.  We look forward to hearing from you!
