WVAC was honored to join the Wilton Kiwanis Club for an engaging and thoughtful conversation about the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps' work and our role in serving the Wilton community.

This past Sunday, WVAC members Esther Hilbers, Hans Wernke, and Ben Gasparinni provided standby coverage for the Wilton Carnival in town center.

On Sunday, November 23rd, the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps, in collaboration with the Wilton Police Department, organized a toy drive outside the Wild Child toy store in Wilton.

WVAC members had a great time this Halloween season attending three different touch-a-truck events.

WVAC Members Have Been Busy Supporting the Community this Summer

Just prior to the start of the school semester, the Wilton Public Schools (WPS) held a convocation to mark the beginning of the school year. This year, WPS invited WVAC to teach/refresh CPR techniques to teachers.

WVAC Honored to Participate in the Memorial Day Parade

On Wednesday, April 23rd, 10 WVAC members gathered to sponsor and serve dinner to the residents of Ogden House (100 River Rd). In 2024, WVAC responded to precisely ninety-nine 911 medical-related calls at Ogden House (approximately 5% of our call volume in 2024), which provides 85 apartments for elderly and certain non-elderly disabled or handicapped residents.
